Become part of Genesys’sServices Organization, which provides second level and higher technical supportfor our solutions and related technologies to our regional customers andpartners.

  • EnterpriseApplication Support or Windows Server Administration, Networking andTroubleshooting experience (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP in Windows Server).
  • Relevant Certifications would be an asset : MCSE or MCTS

  • Programmingin any of the following languages : C#, C++, Java, or any .NET language
  • DatabaseAdministration, Maintenance, Programmability with SQL Server or Oracle
  • VoIPTelephony (Protocols : SIP / RTP, TLS / SRTP) and / or Cisco Networking experience.ISDN Telephony (E1 / T1) experience is a plus.
  • Relevant Certifications would bean asset : CCNA, CCNA (Voice), or CCVP

    System engineerswithin Genesys (GENESYS) Support have an expanding career path within theServices organization. With merit and experience, the position can lead to avariety of posts ranging from technical leadership to engineering management.

    A successfulcandidate will go through an extensive four-six weeks technical training. Youwill be fully trained in the specifics of the product and up to three skillareas.

    As part of the training passing the GENESYS Certification Exams isrequired.

    A gradualintroduction to the daily work and role responsibilities will ensue aftertraining with mentoring and management guidance.

    KeyResponsibilities

  • Bethe direct point of technical contact to provide high quality Software andHardware support for Genesys (GENESYS) solutions to engineers from our partnerand customer community
  • Bepart of Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) queue to work and resolve level 2 andhigher issues coming via a phone call or web incident from ourpartner’s / customer’s certified engineering (GENESYS Certification required fromexternal engineering)
  • Participatein onsite / remote professional and field services activities as required withinglobal customer base (Once fully trained within a product area)
  • Participatein emergency support coverage.
  • oRecurrence : Approx. 1 weekend out ofevery 3 months

  • Responsiblefor staying abreast of current technologies, GENESYS’s cutting edge solutions,and develop advanced expertise in one or more of our technical subject areas.
  • TravelRequirements : Up to 15% of international travel annually when fully trained

    MinimumRequirements

  • BSc / BEngor higher degree in Computer Science / Engineering
  • Software / Telecommunicationsengineering or relevant field
  • Strongknowledge in one of the skill areas delineated
  • Musthave valid permit to work in the country of employment
  • Fluencyin English is a requirement
  • Mustbe a good communicator and an outstanding team player
  • Mustbe able to multi-task, and work successfully on simultaneousissues / tasks / projects
  • Mustbe able to work under pressure on occasions when customers / partner requireimmediate emergency issue resolution.
  • Skill AreasDesired (one Or More)

  • Experiencewith troubleshooting / administration / support of Microsoft Windows Server basedapplications
  • Experiencewith Installation and troubleshooting of Windows Server, particularly AD, DNS,DHCP
  • Experiencewith VLANs, Voice networks or telco carrier networks
  • Experiencewith Gateways / Switches / Routers / Servers software / hardware (Cisco, HP, etc).
  • Experiencewith Telephony Hardware (Aculab, Dialogic, Audio Codes), IP Phones(Cisco / Polycom)
  • Experiencewith Databases Administration / Maintenance / Programming.
  • Experiencewith Software Programming (.Net, C#, C++, Java and / or scripting is highlydesired)
  • Experiencewith Development or software debugging / support using .Net technologies.
  • Experiencewith Administration, Configuration, Troubleshooting and Deployment of Exchange,Lotus Notes, Citrix, Oracle, SQL Servers, Dialer, or speech recognitionproducts (Nuance / Loquendo)
  • Certificationand / or Experience with Genesys products / solutions is a major advantage
