Mondelez International is looking for Senior Buyer Direct Procurement .

Position Purpose :

The Senior Buyer, Strategic Sourcing Ingredients, will support the strategy formulation; bids and negotiations for the category of ingredients volume assigned for Venezuela and will be the first point of contact to the Market / Suppliers.

This Senior Buyer must keep challenging the status quo and working as a team with Global Management ingredients Team by looking saving opportunities that keep Venezuela with a competitive advantage in the market.

Keep ahead by developing new suppliers which support Ingredients projects in Venezuela and keep business continuity.

Establishing controlled and standardized procedures of project management in project development of new suppliers or technologies.

Coordinate with the Manufacturing, Marketing and R&D the implementation of the productivities and new alternative supplier options that he finds on the market.

The Senior Buyer will elaborate bid documentation (Bid Records / Waivers and SAFs) and send documents for approval as per the Procurement Policy definitions.

Responsibilities :

  • Execute Ingredients strategies to deliver the needs of businessAnalyze Ingredients markets, value chain and participate in developing sourcing strategiesImplement buying strategies in line with all local procurement strategies.
  • Build productivity pipeline for the category group of Ingredients is leading.Prepare documentation to support BUs requirements.

    Coordinates Category Ingredients bids and negotiations Propose forecast of Category Ingredients prices as requested for budgeting and financial forecasts.

    Propose selection of Category Ingredients suppliers with specific focus on synchronization Bu’s strategiesImplement supplier cost reduction programs and other supplier development activities for Category Ingredients.

    Prepare Category Ingredients agreements / contracts based on local requirements Develop BCP (Business Continuity Plan) suppliers for single source ingredientsSupport Category Ingredients de-

    complexity programs and major growth programs for BU.Analyse and develop new competitive sources Understand the BU needs in order to create the best negotiation strategy.

  • Supplier Relationship Management First point of contact with Suppliers and MarketManage key account supplier relationships covering Category Ingredients assigned.
  • Ensure Category Ingredients suppliers are fully engaged in Kraft’s Innovation process.

  • OthersOther projects and duties requested by Global Procurement Organization or KRAFT FOODS Senior Management Team
  • Qualifications

    The successful candidate will be a :

  • University degree in Business Administration / Engineering
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Abilities :

  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Project management experience
  • Political Savvy developed
  • Coordination skills and ability to manage Multicultural team and projects
  • Adaptability in changing environments
  • Experience

  • 6 -10 Years Procurement Experience
  • Experience participating and eventually coordinating projects
  • Experience in different types of industries
