The incumbent will oversee / control all Human Resources functions, activities and services for Venezuela. Ensure the provision of specialist consultancy service and support to business line management and the effective delivery / administration of HR programs.

Work with other business segment line and HR management to develop long / mid / short range strategic business plans and establish / implement approved Human Resources strategies, programs, policies, practices and procedures to support them.

Ensure compliance with local regulatory and labor legislation requirements.

Other responsibilities :

  • Provide subject matter expertise for managing defined compensation plans and processes.
  • Provide crucial data and reports for the region and local regulators (including internal and external audit requests).
  • Liaise and collaborate with service providers, benefit consultants, carriers / vendors and legal as needed.
  • Responsible for delivery of services against agreed SLA’s and metrics.
  • Required skills / experience :

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience within HR from the insurance or financial services industries;
  • Must have outstanding problem solving capabilities, including the ability to clearly define problems, collect data from primary and secondary sources, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and influence others to implement recommendations;
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge or reporting and data model for HR Analytics and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with Compensation and Payroll strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of training and leadership development
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in business administration, data analytics or statistics preferred
