The British School Caracas was founded in 1950. We have slowly expanded over the years and are looking for inspirational teachers to join the team.

We have 130 students in the Primary Section and 120 students in the Secondary Section. Our curriculum in the Secondary Section follows the English National Curriculum in Years 7-9, IGCSE in Years 10-11 and the IB Diploma programme in Years 12-13.

The Secondary Section is an exciting place to work! We are looking at increasing numbers in the next few years. If you would like to be part of these exciting times, we look forward to receiving your application.

We are committed to educating the whole child and are not simply a results factory.

We are looking for Secondary teachers with excellent knowledge of their subject area, some knowledge of the English National Curriculum, IGCSE and / or IB Diploma Programme.

A minimum of two years’ teaching experience is desirable, although we do offer NQT training for exceptional applicants. See attached file for details of our full benefits package.

Interviews will take place ideally face-to-face in London in January 2020. Skype is an option also.

TBSC collaborates with UK, U.S. and other foreign agencies, as well as with private firms, who track individuals who violate child protection laws and participate in criminal activities.
