Location WFH Remote All Latin American CandidatesThe Junior Technical Support Specialist will assist corporate and remote staff by providing quality customer service under direct supervision of the IT Manager and will be assigned various tasks related to the function of the Help Desk to include the following duties As part of the team you willInstalls, modifies, and makes minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems.
Resolves tickets representing staffgenerated technical requests or problems and troubleshoots technical and process issues to maintain productivity.
Maintains system functionality by testing computer components.Helps design and implement networks.As the first point of contact, provide customer service to all Help desk, support personnel, and fellow employees.
Assist Help Desk customers with troubleshooting of computerrelated issues such as virus removalpassword resetsemail setupsoftware installs and general IT problem solving.
Maintain accurate records of completed and pending tasks.Escalate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution of incidentsproblems.
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills in a professional environment.Inventory all IT equipment and maintain a working database of assets for reporting purposes.
Assist in developing a more structured Help Desk request process by working with the IT Manager and installing Helpdesk softwareProvide handson assistance to the IT Manager in the event it is requiredKey qualifications and skills to succeed in this roleIntermediateAdvanced english4 years of relevant experienceBasic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems.
