Programme Development and Quality Director (PDQ) - ( 2200078S )

THE OPPORTUNITY

The PDQ Director will be based in Caracas (open to national and international candidates), supporting the Country Director.

The post-holder will ensure that humanitarian programmes delivered are to the appropriate scale, scope, quality, and accountability expected of Save the Children, incorporate a child focused lens, and mainstream gender, disability and MHPSS.

The postholder will be expected to mentor and / or capacity-build both international and national staff colleagues.

The PDQ Director Development will also be expected to play a role in global level technical working groups, working closely with RO and Centre technical advisers on organisational strategy, capacity building, policy, and advocacy initiatives.

To be successful, you will bring / have :

  • Education to MSc / MA / MEng level in a relevant subject or equivalent field experience
  • Project management certification or experience related to organisational development projects
  • Previous, recently, or current experience with Save the Children.
  • Fluent in Spanish (essential)
  • Fluent in English (essential)
