Job Description : Role Priorities : Responsible for building brand awareness through amplification, faming our brands with a luxury mind-set and leading our sphere of influence to get our brands into culture : Creation of local PR or customization and implementation of Global ones to deliver holistic luxury / premium communications ensuring wide media coverage Ensure Diageo’s brands get into consumers conversation and that our brand’s stories are newsworthy, interesting to influencers and drive consumer engagement, shareability & talkability.
Accountable for understanding local culture / conversations / tensions and ensuring our brands have a credible place within these through stories, content and campaign executions.
Ensure our brands are winning disproportionately in media coverage (earned) and consumer conversations (earned & owned).
Leading the charge to embed the editorial mind-set into the business ensuring our brand plans tell a continuous story which leverages the culturally relevant moments to drive momentum and reach.
Ensure Diageo brands have cultural traction through leading cultural calendars. Accountable for ensuring that we drive advocacy both through consumers on our database and our social communities as well as building direct, meaningful and ongoing relationships with influencers.
Manage all the sponsorships ensuring the best negotiation for Diageo and its brands as well as corporate sales of Reserve portfolio that comes naturally through sponsorships and own network / database.
Leading Our brands to be present within Cultural Interest areas : Accountable for setting the vision and leading powerful strategies in key consumer interest areas identified (i.
e. Sport’, Music’ Art’ and Film’) TBC with a good knowledge of how to create earned’ partnerships and relationships in this space.
Acutely culturally aware; the role has a heavy external focus is well connected and knows people or is great at building powerful relationships to drive innovative, credible relationships and opportunities for our brands to make coverage, ideas and partnerships happen.
Has an ear to the ground and ensuring our brands are activated in culturally relevant ways across markets, consumer groups and interest areas.
Responsible for jointly building a clear PR calendar with TLA and RLA customers (launches, events, critical dates, parties, seasonal peaks) to ensure we receive payback in terms of image.
Build the network of key influencers across brands portfolio engaging them through planned brand events and TLA partnerships, ensuring right presence at all Luxury / Premium events.
