Purpose of the position

The Digital Marketer role is responsible for growing traffic, rankings and conversions for clients via Search Engine Optimisation, as well as delivering efficient and profitable Pay Per Click campaigns.

The individual will help devise digital strategies that provide meaningful ROI for clients and put together reports that analyse performance and trends.

What’s involved?

  • Google Ads checks, to ensure all ads are running as expected and within budget.
  • Google Analytics checks to ensure all running smoothly.
  • Using SEMRush to track online visibility.
  • Competitor analysis and running branded search, to see if PPC clients have competitors targeting them and provide insightful solutions.
  • POA form submission and ordering and PPC budget POA form submission.
  • Posting on all Google My Business profiles.
  • Design briefs submitted within the CG Planner.
  • Agreed blogs submitted to Digital Marketer and contribution to content ideas and themes.
  • SEO, PPC and web reports added to Teams.
  • Generating predictions and audits for new clients.
  • New PPC client set-up : Signed off strategyAccess to Google AnalyticsAccess to Google Ads AccountPayment detailsSet up new payment profileAccess to website or developer to add in GTM or access to implemented GTMGet up conversions through Google Ads and Google Tag ManagerSet up Goals through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Keep SEO and PPC knowledge up to date and actively communicate to key stakeholders (clients, Accoun Strategists, Design, Head of Creative Content etc).
  • In-depth keyword research and researching potential marketing channels.
  • Reviewing website backlinks and identifying and damaging links.
  • Identifying new opportunities and emerging trends in digital marketing.
  • Writing creative content for landing pages and blogs.
  • Role requirements

  • Educated to a degree level is preferred (Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business or Media) or a level 3 Digital Marketing qualification is desirable.
  • Knowledgeable understanding of SEO and PPC.
  • An in-depth understanding of Google Analytics.
  • Experience in working with Google webmaster tools including Analytics and Key Word Planner.
  • SEO copywriting desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with an attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based systems
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Accurate spelling and grammar
  • Analytical mind to interpret data and results
  • Creative
