ABOUT THE JOB
The British Council Venezuela is recruiting teachers for Young Learners to join our team. We are looking for teachers to promote and ensure quality teaching and effective learning of English and to support the wider aims of the British Council and its cultural relations mission.
The main Accountabilities for this role are to support British Council’s global English strategy by :
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
You should have experience teaching Young learners aged 8 to 17 (400+ hours). A Cambridge CELTA / Trinity Cert TESOL or recognized equivalent.
A First degree or recognized equivalent will be highly important and a full mastery of English across all 4 skills equivalent to user (CEFR C2) IELTS.

In Venezuela we do activities in the area of English language teaching, exams and projects, with a staff of 70 around people.
We provide services onsite and in some offsite venues.

After reviewing applications, you can be shortlisted for an interview or not, in either case we will notify you. After the 1st interview, there could be a second interview stage or assessment.
Once that is done, the panel makes a decision, we run a reference check process and then an offer is extended. In every stage we provide feedback via e-
