    The Talent Engagement Manager is accountable for leading the holistic service delivery of all hiring in Venezuela market.

    The role is focused on ensuring a high quality of service delivery and ensuring the robust delivery of Diageo’s Talent Ambition, whether through an internal move or an external hire.

    The role is deeply connected to the two key business functions and ensures business performance delivery through the execution of the talent component of the multi-year talent planning process and ensures compliant hiring takes place.

    Dimensions :

    The Talent Engagement Manager is accountable for leading the holistic service delivery of all hiring across Venezuela recruitment market or under the agreed budget.

    The focus is on delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience at pace with the focus around critical and key roles, particularly those that are revenue generating or critical to the business ever being vacant.

    Main responsibilities :

  • Support implementation and integration of new ways of working with the introduction of new technologies (Workday, Beamery, Assessment Automation, HireVue) in both markets;
  • Activate the Employer Brand in conjunction focusing campaigns to critical hires and / or focus areas for diversity
  • Work with the diversity recruitment strategy for Venezuela and embed into the multi-year talent plan
  • Build strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, including different cultures / markets, internal & external
  • Work closely with other key TE colleagues, regionally, globally and within the CoEs
  • Highly tuned external & internal radar understanding of best practice in resourcing and development of appropriate network / contacts
  • Thinks into the future and brings this into the organization to shape other ideas and actions
  • Purpose of Role :

    The Talent Engagement Manager operates as a strategic partner and leader across all areas of the business to ensure all internal moves and external hires strengthen the succession pools.

    Ultimately, ensuring strong delivery of the MYTP through facilitating and orchestrating talent movement and acquisition.

  • The role works in close partnership with the Talent Engagement Manager LAC in the region and globally; business stakeholders;
  • and the broader HR community to ensure deep commercial understanding and the talent agenda is strengthened and supports delivery of the business performance.

    Top 3-5 Accountabilities :

  • Lead the talent engagement process, providing standard service in line with KPIS and market needs, ensuring great candidate experience internal and external.
  • Contribute to the development and application of the global policies and tools that enable the resourcing process
  • Drives strong advocacy around the employee referral program to enable a truly global program for internal engagement and external hiring
  • Support in market campaigns to ensure the Candidate Pipeline Team are being enabled to build talent pipelines for Diageo;
  • Qualifications and Experience Required :

  • A resourcing and talent expert
  • Strong operational leadership experience, ideally across multiple geographies
  • Experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of managing senior / mid-career hiring
  • Strong external radar and awareness of external best practice
  • Have exceptional consultative skills and be able to influence action and change with stakeholders
  • An ability to listen but also persuasively convey opinions and recommendations
  • An ability to work in the most confidential situations gaining trust and respect from candidates and hiring stakeholders
